Where did the business name Seafoam Spa come from?

As a child, I would follow my Dad on his photography trips and watch him try and get that perfect shot. One of the locations we would go to often that really always stood out to me was Peggy's Cove. I would watch the churning waters of green and blue below and be mesmerized by the color, the power, the undeniable authority of the sea. The ocean has always been an inspiration to me and it always stirs me with passion. Its life giving, healthy, restorative ebb & flow seems to speak to my essence and need. Growing up at our family cottage each summer, I was surrounded by the beauty of St. Margarets Bay. Peggy's Cove village marks the eastern point of the Bay. With lots of research and a large family tree going back many years, my father discovered that my ancestors were some of the first settlers in Peggy's Cove (1817). Maybe the connection to those waters is so much deeper than I realize. Maybe the sea really does flow in my blood; perhaps I and the ocean are one. Accordingly, in this spirit I invite you to Seafoam Spa

What are the hours of operation?

I am quite flexible with appointment times to suit my client's needs. Call ahead of time or email so we can set up a time and date for your appointment. The days I will be closed are Sunday and Monday. By appointment only please. If you are going to be late for your appointment please call ahead of time. If there is no answer, please leave a message saying when you will arrive.

Sorry, I do not accept credit card or debit

If I accepted these methods of payments, I would have to increase my service prices. So to be fair and reasonable for my clients, I will only be accepting cash.

Are kids allowed in the spa?

If you have a small baby who is not yet walking, you may bring them to the spa. It would be much appriciated though if you do  not bring a young child, where you and I will both be occupied and if the child runs off, he/she would require attention. Thank you for understanding.

07

Do I accept male clients?

Unfortunately Seafoam is a women only spa.

08

When do I show up for my appointment?

Please do not show up any earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment, where I may be preoccupied with another client. I want my clients to be as relaxed as possible and have no interupptions.
